The restoration team from the Department of Conservation of Monuments and Preventive Archaeology of the APSARA National Authority is repairing and strengthening the platform around the southwestern tower of the Lolei temple.
During the restoration work, the team collected the broken and rotten bricks, reassembled them, and used the mortar to fill in the gaps to prevent water seepage and other pests.
This is part of the conservation work that the APSARA National Authority has been carrying out regularly to preserve the 1,200-year-old Lolei temple, which will remain strong for a long time.
